Scrappy Boo Boo (Owl)

I gained inspiration for this piece when I was walking the dog one evening, an owl was hunting in nearby fields.

I used a slightly different technique by bending strips of sheet metal as opposed to starting with the skeleton frame and slowly built up the shape.

I decided to give this a paint coating suitable for outdoors and also added a base plate for mounting so it is ideal to screw onto a fencepost or gate for example.

Viola!..

And now for Owl two...  Similar to the first one but slightly smaller in size and sprayed steel grey...
